Wednesday, December 14, 1932 All trees and fences white with snow. Went in town on the trolly car. Still too icy in our back yard to get the Packard out. Harley went to Philadelphia today to see Mr. Page of Becker Smith and Page regarding our affairs. Carl Northrop called for me this noon and we went down to the luncheon of the West Haven Rotary Club. They now meet at Semons Colonade, Oyster River. Walter Spencer of our New Haven Club was the speaker of the day. Tessie baked a cake and took it in town to St. Paul's Church food sale. I came out home to dinner and the evening. Harley reports that Mr. Page was perfectly fine to him and promised full cooperation. It is so encouraging to have such staunch friends.
