Very cold this morning down to 18°. Drove in town in the Packard. Tessie came in town later on the trolly. She went to the Shubert Theatre to see Cyrano de Bergerac. Katherine Warren played "Roxanne" (she is a former schoolmate of Sally's). Tessie took her to dinner at the Taft tonight. Mr. Roh called me up from Newark today and said the "committee" was coming to New Haven tomorrow morning. Harley and Mr. Buckingham and I worked on a budget all afternoon till seven. Tessie came up to the store and we came home together and she got some supper for me. Six nations paid war debts payments. England $95,550,000.00. Czechoslovakia $1,500,000.00. Finland $186,235.00. Italy $1,245,437.00. Latvia $148,852.00. Lithuania $92,386.00. France, Belgium, Greece, Hungary, Poland, and Eathomia did not pay.
