Friday, December 16, 1932 Coldest morning of the Winter so far. Down to 12 above. The two inches of snow that fell Tuesday night has not melted one bit. Mrs. Smith, Alice Hodges' mother, very sick. Mr. Rho, Manweiter, Tucks, Hawks, and Matlock all at the store all day long going over our affairs. Katherine Warren came in to see. Today, she is at the Shubert Theatre playing Cyrano de Bergerac. She had lunch with Grant and Helen Noble, Ed and Alice Cole, and Tessie. Home tonight to dinner. Tessie spent the evening wrapping packages for Sally's box and I addressing Christmas cards. Very cold tonight.
