Severely cold today. Two above zero. Heavy snow tonight. Harley, Mr. Buckingham, and I worked nearly all day on our budget for 1933. Harley and I worked till seven thirty P.M. Tessie drove in with Maud Elise Smith and we went to the Yale Theatre to see "The Kings Coat", played by the students of the Yale Drama School. It was a fine play. I put the Packard in the store garage. It was too cold to leave outside. We had a letter from Sarah today telling us that perhaps she and little Peter might come home in January to escape the severe cold out in St. Paul.
