Thermometer eight above this morning. Pretty cold Winter so far. Hope that it will mean an early Spring. Tessie took me in this morning. I went over to the barber shop and got my hair cut and a shave. Harley and I went down to the Hotel Taft to Rotary Club. We enjoyed a Christmas program. Rudolph Steerment furnished a quartet (three violins and cello). It is so fine. Mr. Buckingham, our auditor, worked all day with Harley and me getting our financial plan ready for our meeting on Thursday. Home tonight. Finished addressing our Christmas cards. I also wrote a Christmas letter to Sarah at St. Paul, Minnesota. We cannot be together this year.
