Tuesday, December 27, 1932 Cloudy all day. Rain tonight. Tessie had a "sleep over" so I took the trolly car in to town. Harley and I worked on new payroll schedule till noon. He then went to Springfield with Judge Chambers to see the Third National Bank people. They will cooperate with us. I went to New Haven Rotary Club meeting too late for lunch. Heard Charley Dacey of the Boston Club speak for the Boston Convention. We had a store meeting tonight and talked over with them the new pay schedule and asked their cooperation. Tessie called for me and we took Mrs. Wood, Miss Shumway, and Walter Smith home. I think our store group were impressed with our need of their help.
