And so another year comes to an end. It has been a year of much sorrow, suffering, and disappointment from an economical point of view. The depression is at its lowest point. Unemployment is at the highest point yet reached of the more than three years of poor business. Millions are out of work and are be fed and clothed by municipal and charitable organizations. our own business is at its lowest ebb and our earnings will very small. But we have much to be thankful for. We have been well and have been preserved to each other. We prayerfully hope that 1933 will give us a reasonable improvement in our prosperity and a continuance of our good health. Tessie and I are keeping New Years Eve here at home and have just listened to a broadcast from Germany, England, etc.
